Based off the renown 24-hour event started in 2008 by Antenna in New Orleans, The D.R.A.W.’s First Annual D.R.A.W.-A-Thon is a 12-hour drawing extravaganza for all ages. Visitors can come and go throughout this day of drawing during which all the surfaces in our studio can be drawn on by folks of all ages, abilities, skill levels and interests. Our teaching artists and youth leaders will be creating drawing experiences for everyone throughout the day.

Come and create comics, zines, exquisite corpse collaborative drawings, pet portraits and so much more.

No pre-registration needed. All materials will be provided. Draw anything just please be respectful.

The event is family friendly all day and shift to an adult focused event from 7-10p.m.

Scheduled Drawing sessions

11am-1pm - drawing from nature
12-2pm, 4-6pm - comics
1-3pm - fantastical food stuffs
2-4pm - pet portraits
5-7pm - graph paper portraits
5-9pm - costumed models

and Free Drawing all day on all surfaces for all ages

Draw a garden, finish the dream machine, create a character to battle in the coliseum, draw with wire, draw on the windows, draw on the sidewalks.
